The Nitty Gritty - Store Policies

I founded The Seven Year Stitch with one goal in mind: giving my customers a fair, rewarding and enjoyable shopping experience. My store policies are detailed below, so please have a look and contact me if you don't see your answer below.

All items are inventoried daily and considered "available" until payment is made. I do not hold or accept deposit or partial payments.

If the investment for the perfect look is outside of your budget consider selecting Sezzle or Afterpay at checkout. Both Sezzle and Afterpay allow you to make 4 interest free payments, but get your items shipped immediately!

Shipping That Doesn't Take Seven Years (

All items are shipped in manufacturer packaging unless otherwise detailed. Items that have been removed from packaging have been removed for photo and video purposes only and are new and unworn. Such items are neatly folded and repackaged before shipment.

All orders are shipped U.S. Priority mail and charged based on number of pieces sold. One piece is a flat $8.50, each additional piece is $3 more.

Orders placed are shipped within 2-3 business days unless item is a Preorder. To determine if it is a Preorder please review item title and description as it will give more details on the expected ship date. Should you require a shipment to arrive sooner than the USPS Priority timeline (3-4 days) please message me so we can arrange another option and charge your order appropriately.

As we all know things can go wrong even if I get your item out on time the carrier may lose, damage or delay your delivery.

In the event your item is determined to be lost in transit or not arrive via tracker a claim can be filed on the 30th day. After USPS looks for missing package and responds the package will either be re-routed to you or will be refunded on the 45th day from shipping date.

Damaged packages must be reported to me within 48hrs of their receipt so we can determine what next steps there will be. I will make it right but understand that could be an exchange or refund based on product availability.


All About Preorders

As you know, many items that I advertise are "Preorders." Given the current state of the economy this is an absolute priority. I do not want to bring in inventory that could just sit and cost me. This is used by a number of smaller scale businesses.

That said all Preorders have a disclosed "expected" delivery📆 date. You may have encountered delays in the past, and unfortunately continue to occur.

These are multiple vendors from all over the world.🌎 If it was just one I wouldn't use them.

That said, if you order and item says Late June, that does mean the last day of June before I may have to even ship.📦

If I do not have by that day I will individually message and inform you on status. Of course you are welcome to inquire in the status at any point as on occasion they are sooner. 😃

Keep in mind everywhere is experiencing staffing issues, sourcing issues and some shipping alone is 45 days.👀

If an item is expected to be later than✌️ weeks from that date stated ONLY store credit in the full amount paid PLUS 10% (for the inconvenience) will be granted if you request a refund.

Understand by that point your payment isn't with me, but with them so refunds are taking money from me directly and items you order I may be stuck with.

Most have been understanding to this and to those I appreciate you all very much. Again if you have simply inquried recently this is not due to that.🩷

If this policy doesn't suit you keep in mind on occasion vendors require minimum order amounts, and I may end up with a few extra but without preorders I cannot guarantee what sizes those will be. 👗👗
